For clients wishing to have a larger or more diverse line-up, STTA can expand to a 4, 5 6, 7 or 8 piece band including percussion, saxophone, or full brass if desired.

Biography:

STTA The Band are a trio consisting of two of Australia's finest vocalist and entertainers and one of the country’s most sought after keyboard players and musical directors.

Lorenzo Iannotti, Robbie Amato and Veronica Lees all boast over 25 years of industry experience, undeniable stage presence, stand-out talent and a passion to please audiences of all cultures, ages and celebrations.

As a trio, STTA The Band is professional, current and perfect for any size venue, or atmosphere, successfully satisfying the needs of a more intimate affair or main event. STTA The Band can expand to a 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 piece consisting of percussion, saxophone and full brass section for clients wishing to have a larger or more diverse line-up. STTA are available to provide entertainment throughout your entire event including ceremony, pre-dinner/ canapés and the main event. Floor Shows are also available for that extra something special upon request.

The Band:

Lorenzo Iannotti

Lorenzo Iannoti Regardless of genre, it is often the voice that provides that essential ‘human’ element that initially ‘hooks’ listeners into music, and Lorry’s voice certainly has the ability to reel them in. Lorry has trained in a variety of styles at the Melba Conservatorium, an experience that has honed his natural singing ability into a versatile and accomplished instrument.

His ability to tap into the inherent drama of song has already been recognised when he performed the lead role in Jesus Christ Superstar, but it is his creative and stunning vocal work with Something To Talk About that has truly allowed him to find his voice.

Veronica Lees

Veronica Lees Veronica Lees, the daughter of renowned Australian tenor Ron Lees has been singing professionally for over 22 years Veronica has successfully ventured into Jazz, musical theatre and RnB styles. She has enjoyed singing both internationally and nationally with many of Australia’s leading musicians and entertainers such as: Marcia Hines, Elvis to the Max, The Australian Big Band, Joe Chindamo, Don Burrows, Jackie Trent just to mention a few. Skilled in improvisation Veronica has often performs in Melbourne’s Acapella & jazz festivals.

Veronica studied Music at Box Hill College of TAFE as well as The Victorian College of the Arts and has taught at many of Victoria’s school as well as the Australian Girls' Choir.

A Passionate singer and Entertainer, Veronica has worked extensively throughout Victoria, Australia, Asia and Europe and America. Although Veronica’s first love is live performance, she regularly appears on stage and television. Veronica was a regular performer on Australia’s highest rating morning television show GMA, was resident vocalist on THE DENISE SHOW and also appeared on IMT and HEY HEY.

Veronica now devotes her time to her Performance Coaching Academy STAGEworks and to the trio she loves STTA.

Rob Amato

Rob Amato Rob began playing piano at the age of six. Rob chose the piano when asked by his father (an accordian player) “which instrument would you like to learn?”, and by age 10 Rob was in his first professional band playing with many and all of the legendary Italian floorshow artist and wedding ensembles.

Known by all his peers as a Professional and a Gentleman his talent for playing keyboards and accompanying many of Australia’s foremost performers and new artists explains why he is one of Melbourne's most sought after musicians.

A career spanning over 23 years, Australia & abroad, television, session and Live stage performances - Rob has played with people such as , Max Pelicano (Elvis to the Max), Cindi Lauper, Vanessa Amorossi, Bert Newton, Peter Sullivan, Tony Pantano, Gary Pinto, just to name a few...

Rob, although still working with many various artist is passionate about entertaining audiences with his love of all musical styles from Latin to RnB, Weddings to Barmiztvahs, day or night and is one of the founding members & directors of the band Something To Talk About.
